It’s a tragedy that he didn’t live long enough to create his own dance school. He was an excellent teacher. If he had done that before he died we would today have the Nureyev Method!

Nureyev naturally loves to experience the positive limitations of movement. In modern dance he wasn’t afraid to break himself or ruin his precious precise classical training. Here we see him learn the skills as he explores other ways of movement. You can sense his excitement to try a new vocabulary of motion he seeks to master simply because he is curious about all forms and feelings of movement. A humble and brave genius fascinating always in all ways.

Я не понимаю не единого слова о чем говорят эти ценители искусства Нуреева,наверняка, это его бывшие коллеги,которые танцевали с ним на одной сцене,которые превращали музыку в танец,но по мимике,жестам,произношении видно с какой любовью и восхищением они говорят о Рудольфе!!! А как хорош Рудольф!Это целый мир!Как же он прекрасен!!!

A very great man and teacher. I read about his amazing love and kindness towards his pupils. And also that it was only through him that the few truly great ballet dancers emerged. Nobody stands out since that era.

Я досмотрела до конца. Конечно ничего не поняла, так иностранными языками не владею. Говорили о нем и вспоминали его как мне показалось по эмоциям по хорошему. Показали как я поняла его маму с дочками и наверное ещё и внучками. Спасибо большое.
